The evening concludes with signature Powerful7 Fashion Show Fundraiser on September 18th beginning with red carpet entrance, VIP Access, black tie dealer casino tables, special guest performance by Tulani, silent auction, appetizers, special tasting by Uncle Nearest concluding with Studio D’ Maxsi’s renowned designer Afua Sam, DMV's most creative makeup company Josie's Face and the Powerful7 models are back another year with even more synergy and surprises on the runway.

Solitaire Carroll established One Sparrow with her husband to help provide better access to education and resources which in turn provide hope, empowerment, and a sustainable future. One Sparrow understands the importance of community partnerships that "share knowledge, resources, strengths, passion, and encouragement with families who are left feeling distraught and alone in the midst of hardship." Since 2013, One Sparrow has been successful in raising awareness locally, donating funds for durable medical equipment, basic medicine, education, and educational enrichment programming for hundreds of children whose families lack the resources.
We are honored to have MC TV news reporter for WDVM channel 25 Christy Matino. As a teenager and into her early 20's, she lived in New York City as an actor and model, working on television, film and commercials. She is a member of the Screen Actors' Guild and is a published model, having walked in 2020 New York Fashion Week.
